Front Brake Shoes

Can anyone tell me the correct holes to put the springs in for the front
brake shoes for my Bugeye?  There are two holes, one on top of each
other, opposing one hole on the other shoe.  Does the hook of the spring
go in the outer most hole?  As I got this car as a basket case, the
brakes were not assembled, so I have no example to go by.  I think I got
the rear correct.  Not too many different ways to install the rear
springs for the shoes.
