Re: HS4 air cleaners

Mike,
In responce to your question earlier this week about air cleaners on HS4's
on your 1500, I finally had to chance to look at mine.I converted my 79 to 2
HS4's from a MGB last year. I tried K&N first, but they wouldn't clear the
bonnet so I got Longflows from the Vicky Brit MGB catalog(9-1086). They fit
good and look good. The oval ones won't work as there is not enough space
between the carbs. Hope this helps.
PS - the performance increase was really noticeable.
