Remember my remark that "you get what you take" in an earlier post? Well Bob
and Annice, if you haven't met them, are two of the most congenial, open, and
willing to help people you would ever meet. So in return, that is their
experience with other people in their travels, regardless of their automobile
ownership.
Not to detract from the fact that there ARE some nasty people out there, but
again, I think we can give them too much space in our lives and make them too
significant. I had a particularly rough time about 2 1/2 years ago and on a
kind of solo spiritual-renewal trip penned a poem, "The Spirit Takers". It
gave a final recognition to those nasties who will steal your spirit if you
provide it up to them to steal.
And then I moved on.
