There is a difference between the Cherokee and the Grand Cherokee, but until
recently, they shared the standard 4.0 liter six cylinder engine. It was
very easy to tow the Bugeye, and did not seem to stress the Jeep at all. As
for the hitch, I think that it was a class three hitch if that helps.

Hopefully, no more towing for a while, as I will be busy rebuilding things.
Any suggestions choosing an engine rebuilder? As I mentioned earlier, I am
prepping the car for vintage racing (SVRA), and will still have the original
948cc engine. I have considered doing the rebuild myself, but I think that
the smarter move would be to have one built, and buy a back up engine to
rebuild myself...perhaps a 1275cc. Any advice on this would be appreciated.
Thanks.
