My reason for not renewing to the Healey publications exactly.
Rick Moses used to put out a nice quarterly newsletter just about
Sprites.
But he has not done so since Sprite rush 98. Burnout maybe?
It only cost you a SASE and any contributions you saw fit to donate. be
it money or articles or both.
I do not know why he stopped. I do know it was all strictly volunteer on
his part. I know it took a lot of time, paper, printing, and money.
Maybe someone on the list could take over a Sprite Newsletter (with
Rick's permission of course) someone with time on their hands and good
with typing, editing, and keeping tract of it all. I have lots of
*stuff* but I have no idea where it is. I am not organized! I have and
will contribute if a newsletter is infact back in action.
I have a feeling Rick gave up on it because of the internet where all
the news is readily available. Or the fact that his 3 sons are now in
college may play a part, I do not know for sure. I do know that I miss
the Sprite Newsletter and I would love to see one in my mailbox again.
So, Brad's idea and I just fired the first round. Any takers?
I am not looking to step on Ricks toes here. He would have the final say
but I'm sure if he could at least edit or have his name on the
newsletter too like Les has his name on PDLJMPR as creator, he would
give positive blessing to the "endeavoree".
