The two basic benefits of the aluminum head are less weight and better heat
dissipation allowing you to run higher compression.

The weight probably would only matter to a racer.

Other benefits over a stock head would depend on the valves and how the head
flows. It is probably an improvement of a stock head but from what I've been
told, the APT head flows better.

I have the Pierce head but only have a couple of hundred miles since
installation.
