At one time (late '20s early '30s?) Ferdinand Porsche designed
an electric car or two (before doing the original VW Beetle).
Also, there was a 'Maxwell' car, but I don't know whether or not
it was electric. I think Jack Benny supposedly owned one when he
was still doing his radio show.
