have you tried a dip stick heater? easy in and easy out and just remember
to unplug extension cord when out so it won't burn up out of the engine. or
possibly from the local parts house a block heater that replaces the freeze
out plug on the block? jut have a cord under the hood to plug into and
unplug when starting out for the day.
starting fliud is a speedy way to go but washes the rings out at first and
is hard on the cylinder walls and rings with prolonged use.
other alternative? have her stay out later at night and leave earlier in
the morning! with the hope of still having some warmth in the block after a
short term visit at home ? not buying that one eh? didn't think so!
