Mazda Miata seats also work very well in a Spridget. They are a lot more
comfortable. They can be had from the salvage yards for $100-$200 a pair.
They also have some models that had speakers in the headrests.

I once put a set of surface mounts upside down in the footwells (mounted
to the inside top). Others have put two small speakers side-by-side in
the original speaker opening. For a really nice console you can set up
