The mini engine won't fit in a spridget because the crank is longer.  It has 
an extension on the back for the front wheel drive system.  The intake and 
exhaust are on the same side as the spridget engines.  I'm sure there are 
other reasons why it won't fit.  This one worked for me when I tought about 
dropping my 1275 out of my '73 midget into a '65 mini woody.  The crank's too 
short and I'd need a new tranny and other kinds of junk.
