It has happened to me - at an MG Car race meeting. A guy behind me coasted
up in an MGC but he later got his fixed.
About a year later at the same race track I stopped to help new owners of a
Midget (unusual turquise colour). Eventually got it going but they switched
it off to say thanks and stuff and it refused to 'fix' (this was a hammer to
fuel pump job) - guess they went home on a tow truck.
