Thanks for the reply.

Unfortunately, I don't have any personal knowledge of the actual Jet-Hot
process. All I know is that the coating is durable and that the satin finish
looks somewhat like lightly polished metal.

Since it was my desire to have lasting finishes on all components and every
surface during the restoration of my HAN-6, this satin finish was perfect.

I had a number of pieces powder-coated and while it is certainly durable, I
cannot tell the difference between the powder-coated pieces and those pieces
painted with Ditzler-Deltron. They look virtually identical after 6 years of
service.

I don't necessarily have a preference for ceramic or Jet-Hot, it really depends
on the finish one desires.
