Is the plastic cooling fan supposed to have a little bit of wobble, or should it be really tight? My fan is attached tightly to the fan clutch, but the whole assembly seems to wobble two or three milimeters when I give the fan a push. I couldn't get my hand in far enough to see if the fan clutch can be tightened. Can it be, and does anyone think that this could merely be the source of my strange rattling sound. I've now ruled out the alternator? Thanks a lot, John 1975 Midget |
