Fred from California mentioned this last year. (I havn't seen him on the
list latley) And when it was first listed, George Marinos and I agreed
to drive PIECES (73 Midget tub with bugeyes) out to CA so we could win
the man miles award. 2 guys driving across country in a Midget. We would
probably kill each other before we hit the Mississippi River! Great idea
and I will be there with George dead or alive.
I have lots of ideas for the event. Funkana, Autocross, Rally, photo
contest, valve cover race, models, tech sessions, award for the most
"tastfully" modified Midget, and that "Armourall" award for the Midget
with dripping tires and shiney radiator hoses, hard luck award, diamond
in the rough, and of course, man miles driven NOT trailered!
