Toby,

I think that one of the smartest things I did during my restoration (grant
it not many to choose from) was to have both the gas tank and radiator
boiled out.  I slushed the gas tank and have had no difficulties with
clogged fuel filters/pumps.  Never have overheated either and I live in the
mile high city where it often gets into the 90s during the summer.
