I have a Flowmaster muffler on the vintage racer... sets 'em off everytime.
Many systems have motion/noise detectors that if set to a low threshold
will go off easily from a passing vehicle that has moe than your average DB
level. I notice some systems have advanced circuitry that resets quickly if
set off in this way. If you're lucky, you might go down a street and set
off a few on the same block all at once...:->
