Thanks. It could be handy. I would have to travel out of the city to get to marine shops. A local one that I found had a screw in attachment with the wrong threading to get a proper attachment onto. If I had a make and model ... I could phone and go out for one trip. -----Original Message----- From: LBCarNut@aol.com <LBCarNut@aol.com> To: RobertDuquette@sympatico.ca <RobertDuquette@sympatico.ca>; spridgets@autox.team.net <spridgets@autox.team.net> Date: June 4, 1999 7:06 AM Subject: Re: rack >In a message dated 6/4/99 6:40:09 AM Eastern Daylight Time, >RobertDuquette@Sympatico.ca writes: > >> Does anyone have first hand knowledge as to whether or not M*ss' grease gun >> on page a34 of the April 99 catalogue would make a good oil gun for the >> steering rack? >Robert, > Marine supply stores sell a grease gun for outboards that takes a tube >of oil screwed to it that I have been using to put oil in my steering rack. >I can dig up the part numbers if you cannot find it. >Regards, >Peter S. |
