You could tell Peter C. is on vacation this beautiful weekend - the border
guards failed to prevent the Mrs. and me from invading Wisconsin this
morning. With 2 more days of in-house babysitting (Nana's in town), we took
off for Monroe, Wisconsin at 7:30 AM. The Bugeye was in fine tune, and we
wandered our way across the Rock River through small towns and villages with
Wells Fargo train depots and flag-draped downtowns all the way to Monroe.
Downtown Monroe looks EXACTLY like the downtown in the movie "Back To The
Future" - just perfect. We parked right next to a 1931 Chevy and a 1929
Ford. People walked right by them to gawk at the Bugeye! (one person
commented that mine was the only one not leaking; ends the sealant debate for
me). Had a fine midwest breakfast at a Mom-n-Pop shop, and made our way
back. Approximately 180 miles round trip, no problems, only smiles.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend,
Ron
