Scott,
The advice you gave was some of the best I've heard for anyone wanting
to get into autocross.  Like someone said earlier; 90% driver, 10% car.
The money spent on suspension components is money well spent... period.
Over the 32 years I've been at it, I utter this same message each and
every time someone asks me what they need to do to their car.
