I removed my '67 Sprite dash--didn't seem to be that difficult--lots of small
nuts involved. But painting it in the original Krinkle finish has proven to
be a pain in the arse. I have gotten how-to's and suggestions, followed the
directions on the can and still end up with some of it looking perfect and
some of it looking shiny--very uneven. I have sandblasted it and painted it
twice in two different ways with unsatisfactory results so far. I am going
to sand blast and try it again--only ONCE again--and it it screws up I will
sand blast it a 4th time and paint it SATIN BLACK!!!!!
Hope you have better luck.
