To all,
I sense I offended with my comments about why drain and refill shocks.
No
offense or judgement was intended, honest. I thought I was adding a little
levity to my diatribe on shocks. I aplogise if I ruffled any feathers.
John,..... consider replacing those shocks. There should be no loose
rubber bits, and there are no bushings in the shocks to shed metal filings.
I will say that Sprite front shocks are known for making a ridge in their
bores from removing wall material.... much more so than any of the other
Armstrongs... and the oil does show the particulates. And Nory, let me know
how the next basted turkey tastes ;-)
I'm off to curl! See ya Peter C
