Hello listers:
I was going to replace the existing plug wires on my 1275 with new
(but old early 80's GM set cut to fit) wires. The old wires that are
on the car read almost zero Ohms across the lead but the "suppresser"
new (old GM set) wires read about 18K Ohms across a wire.
The old ones are ratty looking but are still working OK but I wanted
new wires. Can I use these new (old) suppresser cables without worry.
Is this resistance OK. These have a carbon type inner "wire" core
versus the ones on the car have a real copper wire core.
TIA
