        Welcome to the fray! 
        As to 1500 differences. Using AE engine parts catalog listings under
T****MPH S*itfire the CR for USA is 7.5:1 and the rest of the universe is
9:1 altered by piston design. This is the current data, and may not
necessarily be the way it was. How's that for CYA?
