OK, I give up! There must be a simple way to get the two brake shoe springs back in place (front drums, Bugeye). The springs of course have to go on the inside of the shoes, and I just can't weem to get a grip on the spring, exert the necessary downwards (or upwards) tension, hold the shoes in place, and get access to pop the spring end into the right hole. Should the micram adjusters be out of there, and put in later? Is there a favorite tool to pull the spring with? What am I missing here? Thanks, Doug Ingram Victoria BC 1958 Frogeye AN5L/636 |
