location of reverse switch

Hi everyone,

My transmission came with the reverse light switch removed. The PO had
wired a switch on the radio console instead. When I bought one of my parts
cars there was a reverse switch in with a box of parts and I'd like to
install it on my car.

Anyway I wanted to be sure of the location of the switch. Is it in front of
the shifter on the passenger side of the car facing back to front once you
remove the shifter cover?
