OK Folks... your wish is my command.

Standard pricing at my business, http://www.americanoutfitters.com, is $30
per color set up charges for screens. ($10 per screen on re-orders).

Print costs, on quantities of 24-71, we charge $1.10 for 1 color, $1.35 for
2 color, $1.60 or 3 color and so on. Dark colors require a "flash" which
essentially adds an additional color to your print charge... so a 1 color on
black would cost $1.35 to print.

The front of a shirt would require a set of screens, the sleeve another, and
the back another... so of you're talking a multi location print on a small
production run, the set up charges will kill you.

Embroidery is another option. We do our logo digitization in house... this
can be an expensive process. Depending on the size and complexity of the
logo, you can spend anywhere from $50 to $15 on this.

Cost per shirt (or hat) are based on stitch count... we charge $1 per 1,000
stitches. A left chest logo can run anywhere from 2,000 to 15,000 stitches,
so the cost to embroider would be $2 to $15 per shirt depending on the
design.

Garment prices vary based on quantities and quality. You can get golf shirts
that retail for $16, or $60.

So, you've got 40 different people with 40 different ideas, a recipe for
inaction.

I spend about $5,000 a year out of pocket on Team Thicko race wear that we
sell at our various race appearances. Years ago, I did a lot of regalia with
the Austin Healey script on it (still have some if you want it) at AHCA
events and Conclaves. Having to bankroll this type of activity can
definitely cut in to the "disposable income" pocket. I wasn't kidding when I
suggested you folks adopt the Team Thicko logo'd sportswear for the Spridget
list. If you ever get to a vintage race, sometimes we have as many as 10 or
15 Spridgets in our pits, along with all the other marques that paddock with
us for some of that famous Team Thicko hospitality.

Have I clarified or thouroughly confused the issue???

It's about time some Silk Screen Printing Expert jumped in here and informed
this design committee of the cost of Screens and printing for multi color
front, back, and sleeve printing. I would believe the cost has just gone
through the Ozone level.
