I am some what torn between two opposed ideas.
I live in Perth, Western Australia. It would be no surprise for you good
people to not know where it is! The Sprite market here is very small.
My wife recently got a new job - lots of responsibility, where's the
money!!! She starts work before public transport even thinks about their
first service of the day.
My wife decided we need another car. I thought great!
She suggested a Sprite. I said sure (rubbing my hands in anticipation)!
I told my wife that a vehicle such as a Sprite MUST be kept in a garage and
we seem to have some level of agreement (previously I was not able to gain
consensus on said garage due to an alleged history of acquisition without
disposal)!
Present Project:
Build a 6 x 8 meter double car brick garage.
Status: Drawing up plans and costing construction.
Problem 1:
I prefer the appearance of the Mark I Sprite - just my preference. My wife
wants a daily driver. I know my son (8 years old) dose not care what we
drive but, prefers to look good (Image conscious at 8???) I get the feeling
that I am more likely to pick up a daily driver if I look to the later
models or the Midget.
Problem 2:
My wife wants a daily driver. When she heard I was planning on a RSJ in the
garage to facilitate the removal of large heavy objects - well you can
guess. The plan has not changed - yet! I would like to get a Mark I and play
a lot:
Install 1275cc
Install 5 speed box (possibly celica as can't identify Datsun 210 at
this stage)
Disc conversion
Follow playing by much driving and repeat the process.

The temp here in Perth was 36 C, but a pleasant sea breeze has come in - I
really want to go far a drive but it's not the same in a suzuki!
