I'd like the lists ideas on colors for me street/vintage car.

I refuse to my car in BRG or Red..it seems every other car will be that
color.....not that I don't think the car looks superb in those colors.
(in case mike is reading this!)

The car is a 73 Midget street car(so visibility is a concern) that will
be built to SVRA vintage race spec (so pseudo authenticity is a concern
i.e. it looks like it could have raced back then) and will be on the
track eventually. It may have some big white roundels on it for numbers
eventually.

It will also get some "backdating"..chrome strip on the hood, older
Midget Grill, no plastic MG badge on the back, rounded rear lights in an
attempt to make it at least appear older. Bumpers removed.

so what do you think.....

The Robins egg blue mentioned below is a great idea...doesn't strike me
as a racing color..any precedent for it being painted that color in race
trim?

I have also been thinking of a BRIGHT yellow...like the new mercedes
convertible

The car is white now which is fine if a little unimaginative..(pardon me
to any white spridget owners)

Has anyone got a lead on photos of square sprites or midgets in race trim
on the web?

Ideas welcome!!!

Ric
