Jacobs ignition book

Hi list,

I'm looking for a decent technical book on ignition systems and have
discovered a book available here in the UK (I think of USA origin) The Doctors
step by step guide to optimising your ignition.  I was about to rush out and
buy a copy when I noticed it is written by Jacobs.  What I don't work is a
book which is in effect an advert for their products and does really tell me
much.  Anyone have experience of this book or can recommend another?
