One thing to remember about carpets when you make them yourself is to not glue them to the floors, but allow for snap or velcro romoval for those times when they get wet (What? Wet??? --Hey, remember it is a British water funnel). If you cannot remove the floor carpeting to dry, it just sits there sopping wet promoting and advancing the rust demons on your floorboards. Just a note to remember that should make life a little easier in the future. ---David |
