Never seen auto carpet at my Home Depot (and I'm there several times a day
acording to my wife), but I get mine at Auto Parts Club. The quality of
the stuff at APC is better that the carpet that came in the carpet kit I
got...BUT...The kit I got had all of the proper edges stitched up with red
vinyl, so that added a nice touch.

The only other thing I would say if you are carpeting your Spridget
'kitless', is to save your little 'S' shaped pieces of carpet from right
behind the seats, and use them as patterns for your replacements. When I
got my kit, I looked at those and wondered "how the heck are those gonna
work?"...but they went right on and fit perfectly. They'd be really tough
to redesign yourself. (of course, save all your old carpet as a
pattern...it's just that those 'S' shaped pieces are the trickiest)

CTP

ps - I took my leftover black auto carpet and used it to line my toolbox
drawers...costs less than the liner stuff, and doesn't bunch up when the
tools slide around...very posh!
