The rear diff was one I knew about...not sure why it cost your friend so much
though...currie enterprises cuts down ford 9" rears very reasonably.  As for
the rest of the fabrication we have done stupider things here so this one
doesnt seem too bad.  

List of stupid things:

Chevy 400ci small block in Ford F250 retaining the Ford Trans (sure, NOW they
make a kit)

4.3 V6 TR7s

350 V8 Mistubishi Starion
