Adrian,
Take a washer, with a hole big enough to go around the piston link, use your
hacksaw and cut a slot out of the washer, compress the spring/cup
arrangement and use your slotted washer to hold it down and out of the way,
and then drive the roll-pin out with a 1/16" pin punch.
