It was Biff Jones.  That Sprite was looking real good.  I drooled on his
original rubber mats (but quickly wiped it up before he saw me).  Have no
idea why he didn't beat us all.  Then again, it was a popularity vote where
there are so many variables no one could ever figure it out.  The crowd
didn't seem too interested in originality though.  For example, Peter's
beautiful bugeye with the tilt up bonnet, drew a lot of attention and
praise - mine included.  It was the first time I had ever entered a car in a
show.  It was a lot of fun talking to the Spridgeteers there.  Different
people, different cars, different experiences with those cars - that's why I
went to the show.  That and it was only an hour away!  Rick and the MG club
did another great job!
