I can't remember what year Spridget you have, but if you have a PCV valve
(or supposed to have one :), make sure it works (or get one ~$70).
It puts a partial vacuum on the crankcase and significantly reduces oil
loss.
Hmm, the silicone idea might be cheaper, though...
