I've used grease in my trunnions for over 30 years, never had a problem.
I use synthetic now.
Of course I'm lucky to drive 1000 miles a year in recent years...

What do people use to oil the threaded front trunnion?  I haven't been able
to find an pressure oil type of "grease gun".  Any suggestions?
