Hi all:
    Just wanted to say thanks for all the help. I appreciate it! On my 
last post, I let you all know while the throttle cable snapped while my 
wife had the car out. At that time, I hoped it was related to my slow 
spit saga!
    Good news, it was! Installed a new cable & now it goes well. I'm 
guessing the old cable was stretched & not opening the throttle all the way.
