How do.

I have no idea about the fesibility of this, but it may be possible to get 
the "marine chromed" which is a thicker, protective chroming as used on 
boats.  

That's about as helpful as I can hope to get I'm afraid.

I could do with visors on my MkII if anyone's got spares..?
