Listers,
My transmission noise was caused by too much play in the clutch operating
lever. I installed a new sleeve around the bolt that had been used instead
of the correct pin that holds the operating lever in place. I also slipped
a couple of washers on each side of the lever where it pivots. The noise is
now gone!
