Yes , I probably will have to replace the tires because I bought them in 
the early seventies. Then I got married, bought a house , had kids, etc. 
and the Spitfire was put on hold. Now the kids are off to college and I 
have  started working on the car again... I'm having a ball ! Although the 
tires do hold air , they probably have dry-rot.
