pics on email

Hello again, I tried unsuccesfully to send a pic with an email, can someone 
tell me how to include a pic with the email please. I can send a pic with an 
email to myself and to others on the web but not to     
spitfires@autox.team.net
Do I have to put it up on the web and put the URL in the email, or is there 
an easier way ?
