Steve,

I haven't bought one to try it yet, but I'm told that the rear hatch seal for
GT6's (still available) make a fine replacement and only have to be trimmed a
little for length. Some have suggested using a windshield gasket and while
this should also work, the GT6 hatch rubber is preferred because it has a
lower profile than the windshield rubber and looks better. Plus, like the
windshield rubber, the GT6 hatch rubber also has the all-important channel for
running your stainless steel or plastic chrome trim around.

Take care,

Jeff McNeal (San Diego)

Has anyone found a suitable replacement for the rear window seal on the
early style hardtops? No one carries it any more. Several outfits make
universal windshield and rear window channel (Metro, Restoration
Specialties and others). Has anyone found a particular style that works
well? Also, I am looking for the body mounted tie bars for the hard
top, does anyone have a hard top car they are parting? or know of one in a
  wrecking yard somewhere?
