I once moved a bookcase, a ratten/bamboo love seat, the matching
chairs, in fact-almost my whole apartment very carefully on the
(then new) soft top of Arthur, King of the Britains (1977
Spitfire) when I lived in Italy.
I was younger and more foolish in those days.
Though I do know a fellow out here who brought I don't know how
many big bookcases on his '64 RHD Spitfire. Of course, his car
isn't painted yet.
