A "second-tier" sighting:

Over Thanksgiving I happened to browse through
my younger sister's high school yearbook (class of 1980).

There was a photo of the football team quarterback with
the homecoming queen pulling up to the school in a Spitfire.

No idea which year, since the photo was BW and had the
usual high-school-yearbook level of quality...
