Sean,

I had the same thing happen to my '68 Spitfire. Turned out to be a
bare wire at the fuse box ,which had become dislodged, that was
touching the metal firewall. I was fortunate to spot an area of burnt
metal that led me to find the short.

Good luck,

Mike

Subject: Blown Fuse

I have an electrical question. The third fuse, that controls the
horn,
buzzer, interior lights, etc, blew on my spit a few days ago. When I
went
to replace it the new fuse blew as I put it in the block. Do I need
to
look for short somewhere and are there any suggestions as to how I
troubleshoot this? I just reassembled the dash trim pieces so the
interior
lights might be the culprit.

Slanté,
Sean Twigg
