Ebay GT6, special GT6?

The ebay ad lists:

This is one of seven cars exported to the united states with these options:
Factory tuned headers, Rally Race Rims, KD motor, Dual SU carburators,
overdrive, quad exhaust. This car has no rust, and a very straight body. The
paint is good. Drivability and handling is good. I have extra parts. Runs
strong, needs some TLC.
Possibly a rare prototype, as it has a 4- digit VIN number.

Anyone ever hear of this before?
