I just flunked my safety inspection on the "71 spitty. Unfortunately it is my driver and I cant be on the road til it is fixed. The crack inspection tech jacked up the front and found excessive movement in the wheels. The diagnosis is ball joints. I will have to look more closely to veryify. Any thoughts? How tricky are ball joints? Do you need to compress the springs? Ugh. Steve M. |
