Jeff,

Mine's a 3-rail and it almost touches the radio. In fact, the gear lever, if
pushed hard, can brush one of the buttons. I had a '69 Spit with a
mechanical push-button radio long ago. You had your favorite station on the
second push-button, 'cause everytime you hit 1st gear, that button was
pushed.

Of course, no problem if the car just sits in the garage, waiting for
parts... grrrrrrrr !!
