Hence my disclaimer, but, a slide hammer seems like it might work on a stuck
one without chewing up the edges. While I'm certainly not a mechanic, I've
popped many dustcovers and I've never seen one as hard to get at as the
Triumph's. Seems like a momentary lapse in their generally user-friendly
approach to service.
