Bill, I also got email from Tommy Morris on using an impact wrench. BTW as it is a 76, there is no pin that I am aware of or can see. The older models had a castelated nut and a pin, but this one is really tough. I believe the books have it about 120 ft. lbs. or something in that range. I think generating the torque is the problem all right. Just that the car is on axle stands and there is not a lot of clearance to get a long shaft on a wrench to get that torque. Alan  |
